The INCA Map Quiz 2026 (Phase I) was conducted on 8 August 2026 at Raja Rammohan Roy Academy, which served as the Dehradun centre for the competition. The event was organised by the Indian National Cartographic Association (INCA), Survey of India, Dehradun Branch.

The quiz was conducted by officials from the Survey of India/INCA and aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and awareness of general geography, topographical maps, satellite imagery and navigational charts.

A total of 22 teams from three schools participated in the quiz—13 teams from Raja Rammohan Roy Academy, 8 from Universal Academy and 1 from Mount Fort Academy. Each team comprised three students from Classes VIII to X.

The participants displayed keen interest and enthusiasm throughout the competition, responding to the questions with confidence. Held under the guidance of the Geography Department, the event provided an enriching and interactive learning experience, encouraging students to apply their geographical knowledge and strengthen their understanding of cartography.
