Teachers’ Day Celebration 2024

“Teaching is the profession that teaches all the other professions”

Teacher’s day which is celebrated once a year on the 5^th of September, is a great opportunity for students to help make each teacher feel special and to thank them for all they do for their students.

The students came without their books and bags and  went to their classes, waiting for their teachers to welcome them in their vibrant classrooms ready for class parties. They invited their Subject teachers to their classes and welcomed them warmly as good hosts and  exhibited their talents as a treat to the teachers.  The performance of students exclusively for teachers is always memorable one.

At11.00 teachers were invited to Multi-Purpose Hall and were felicitated by the School prefects in a very traditional way, they applied ‘Tilak’  on the foreheads of every teacher symbolizing not only the emotional connection between the teacher and the student but also the spiritual connection and awakening of consciousness. Next was the variety entertainment programme  organized by the Senior School began with  a melodious solo song  by Sidra followed by a welcome speech by Shambhavi that  overwhelmed all the teachers, next was a scintillating  group dance performance that  made teachers also tapping their feet. The most thrilling was the game teachers participated in, with great zeal and enthusiasm , followed by beautiful old number by Sourish, was a joy to listen to.  The fusion dance performance in Retro Style was another dazzling performance in which they showed what happens in the classroom when the teacher takes time to reach the classroom and how does she react when she finds them dancing.  Mr. Rajiv Srivastav, PGT Physics was requested to reveal the secret of being a singer who mesmerized everyone present there with his melodious song. The rhythmic composition on Keyboard by Shambhavi Bisht was outstanding. To make this day memorable , teachers were presented beautiful ornamental plants planted in beautiful pots which symbolize trust and hope and a way to show the eternal love for the people you value in life.

 The Principal, Ms. Bharti Vishnoi shared her views about childhood and appreciated students for their hidden talents and their entrancing performances.  Vote of thanks was proposed by Dhairya Tiwari. The day concluded with a scrumptious lunch arranged for the teachers.
