THE INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The Investiture Ceremony was conducted at Raja Rammohan Roy Academy, on July ,30 2026 for the Academic session 2026-2027, formally entrusting the newly constituted student leadership with positions of responsibility and service.

The Investiture Ceremony marked the formal induction of the Prefectorial Boards of both the Senior and Primary Sections. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome, followed by the ceremonial march-past of the newly constituted Prefectorial Board. The young leaders marched with discipline and confidence, symbolising their readiness to shoulder the responsibilities entrusted to them.

The office-bearers of the Senior Section were formally invested with their badges. Ananya Matta was invested as the Head Girl and Abhinav Godiyal as the Head Boy, while Parnika Kundwal and Shourya Panwar were invested as the Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy . In Primary Section, Vivan Gulwani was invested as the Head Boy and Anisha Bhandari as the Head Girl.

The badge presentation was followed by the oath-taking ceremony, during which the newly invested prefects solemnly pledged to perform their duties with sincerity and without fear or favour, uphold the rules and regulations of the school, maintain its code of conduct and conduct themselves in an exemplary manner.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Ms. Bharti Vishnoi congratulated the newly invested prefects and motivated them to regard their positions not merely as titles of distinction but as responsibilities that demand discipline, integrity and commitment. She emphasised that true leadership lies in leading by example, fulfilling one’s duties conscientiously and serving the school community with humility and dedication. She encouraged the young leaders to uphold the values of the institution and become worthy role models for their fellow students.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by the Primary SectionHead Girl followed by the National Anthem. The Investiture Ceremony marked the beginning of a new tenure for the Prefectorial Board 2026–27, reaffirming the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible, disciplined and conscientious young leaders.
