DIWALI ACTIVITY

Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy organized a lively Diwali celebration on 29th October 2024 for Kindergarten and Classes 1 and 2. The young students enthusiastically engaged in various creative activities, crafting their own lanterns, candles, buntings, torans, and decorating earthen diyas. Each classroom was beautifully adorned with festive decorations that radiated the joy and spirit of Diwali. To deepen students’ understanding of the festival, teachers performed a special enactment, explaining the significance of Diwali and promoting eco-friendly practices. Through this, students were encouraged to celebrate Diwali responsibly by avoiding firecrackers, highlighting the importance of a safe and environmentally friendly celebration. As a token of the celebration, each student received a takeaway gift, including diyas, lanterns, and buntings. The event was not only enjoyable but also educational, helping students embrace the true essence of Diwali with creativity, joy, and environmental awareness.
