"Leaving is not the end, but a new start. The next adventure awaits, and it's bound to be extraordinary."

The students, staff and management of Raja Rammohan Roy Academy bid farewell to the outgoing students of class XII. Filled with curiosity and zeal, the farewell ceremony was organized by the students and teachers of class XI on 21st December 2024 in the school quadrangle. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments.

The function commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Principal ma'am, Head Mistress ma'am, head boy and head girl of the school. The Principal, Ms. Bharti Vishnoi passed on the light of wisdom to the students and motivated them to embark on a new journey with the ethical values learnt at school.

Bracing themselves, the students walked on the ramp and gave quick-witted answers for the questions asked to participate for Ms. and Mr. ISC , sparkle and star of the evening and other titles. The mementoes were presented to all the outgoing students as a token of blessing. The most interesting part was the Questionnaire Round. Each contestant answered very confidently. The audience was very curious and was guessing the crown holders and meanwhile a sumptuous lunch was waiting. On behalf of the students of Grade XII, the Head Girl, Shambhavi Bisht expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the alma mater. The day proceeded with dance and music performances which showcased the multiple talents of class XI students. The performances were thoroughly enjoyed by the momentum for the day.

In nostalgia and reluctance, but with hope and aspiration, the school community bid adieu to the batch of 2024-25 and wished them luck for all they set out to do.

After lunch it was the time to crown the stars. Mohd. Rehan and Shambhavi Bisht stepped forward to win the title of Mr. and Ms. ISC respectively. Ishita Bisht was chosen as the sparkle of the day whereas Mridul Thapliyal became the star of the day. Kartik Bhatt was crowned for Mr. Diligent and Sanskriti Bahukhandi was honoured as Ms. Diligent. The title of Mr. Congenial went to Vidit Upadhyay and Aditi Chaudhary was considered as Ms. Congenial. The day was quite enthusiastic, yet it couldn’t come to an end without the cake cutting ceremony. It was a blend of bitter-sweet moment. We will always miss our batch 2024-25.
