13^th August – Inter House Collage Competition

An Interhouse Collage Competition was held at Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy on 13th of August, 2024. The theme for the competition was “FREEDOM MOVEMENT OF INDIA”

It was organized with the aim of fostering creativity and teamwork among students. The competition aimed to enhance student’s ability to convey ideas, visually, through the medium of a collage. The participants from each of the four houses were full of excitement and enthusiasm. Each house was allotted a bulletin board, to display artistic skills and knowledge on the given theme. They had done a lot of research work to bring out their best. They had taken the opportunity to decorate their boards, using a variety of materials including paper, fabric, paint and other articles. The colourful boards have grabbed the attention of all. It has invoked patriotic feelings and created an aura of patriotism on the school premises.

The judgement was based on the criteria: creativity, originality, composition and historical facts, theme interpretation and overall impact. It was a herculean task for the judges to adjudge such a wonderful artistic presentation, of all the houses. The results were as follows:

First Position SHIVALIK HOUSE

Second Position SATPURA HOUSE

Third Position ARAVALI HOUSE

The dedication displayed by all the participants was truly commendable.
