Inter House Indoor Cricket Tournament 2023

Participation in sport has been shown to have multiple physical, social and psychological benefits for learners of all ages. Cricket in particular can improve one’s motor skills, stamina, endurance and has proven to enhance social and leadership skills. Keeping this in mind, Raja Rammohan Roy Academy organised an Inter-House Indoor Cricket Tournament for the students of classes VI-XII from 25^th April, 2023 to 27^th April, 2023 in the school premises. The participants under the able guidance of Ms Poonam Yadav, Mr Ajay Kumar and Mr Sagar Mandarwal, participated enthusiastically and exhibited excellent sportsmanship.

In the Junior Boys category, Aravali House bagged the first position and Vindhya House was declared the first runner up. In the Girls category, Shivalik House acquired the first position, followed by Vindhya House which was announced the first runner up. In the Senior Boys category, Vindhya House was successful in bagging the first position and Aravali House was declared the first runners up.

Vindhya House was victorious in the overall category and bagged the House trophy while Aravali House was declared the first runner up and Shivalik House and Satpura House were tied as second runners up. The participants from all the four houses took part with gusto and displayed endurance, determination, team spirit and tactical knowledge which was eloquently visible throughout the tournament. The Tournament was a grand success as it showcased a healthy competition and a spirited fight amongst the participants.
