06^th August – A visit to Swami Rama Himalayan Institute

On August 6, 2024, all the sections of class XII were taken on an educational trip to Swami Rama Himalayan Institute, Jolly Grant. The trip began with a joyful bus ride filled with laughter and fun !

Upon reaching the destination, the children were taken to the auditorium for an audio visual session.

The institution had organised a counselling session on Rash Driving which helped our students to understand the rules and regulations to be followed on the road. The session proved beneficial in shaping the minds of our youngsters so as to maintain their discretion and alertness while driving, thus ensuring safety at all times. The session involved the active participation of the students followed by an informative Quiz, on the same.

The Humanities and Commerce students were taken to the management labs. The PCM students visited the computer labs and the technology department. The Biology students were shown the Protonics & Genomics and Microbiology laboratory. The students had the opportunity to learn the working mechanisms of various advance machines like Rt - PCR, Bio spectrophotometer, DNA concentrator, DNA extractor, Laminar Airflow, Electrophoresis unit, -81 degrees Celsius deep freezer for storing samples and different culture mediums of fungi, bacteria, virus, mushroom cultivation etc. The aspiring doctors and enthusiasts from all the streams were most fascinated and even more excited to strive towards their goals.

The teacher escorts, Mrs.Kawaljeet Kaur, Mrs. Prabha Pardesi, Mrs. Rakhi Bahukhandi, Mr. Yogesh Puri and Mr. Rupesh Goyal were presented souvenirs from the institution.

It was a fruitful day filled with fun, practical learning and an unforgettable experience for all.
