Visit to Indian Military Academy to witness Passing-out Parade December 2024

On 12th December, 2024 , nine students of class XI of Rajaram Mohan Roy Academy got the opportunity to witness the prestigious Passing-out Parade at Indian Army Institute , Dehradun. It was a spectacular sight to behold at IMA on this eventful occasion that marked the culmination of rigorous training and the dawn of a new chapter for the young cadets was about to unfold. Every corner of academy reverberated the grandeur and tradition, seemed to be a .canvas of pride and honour. The immaculately manicured Parade ground, adorned with precision-drilled cadets standing at attention was truly breathtaking for our students and other spectators.
As the band struck up, its resonating notes echoed across the ground making the land itself alive and pulsing the energy. And then, the most eye-catching sight that awe-struck the spectators was the real parade, as the cadets marched out in perfect synchrony, their boots pounding out a rhythmic cadence on the parade ground, the people could not stop themselves to give them a standing ovation.
The Indian Army has got 390 young officers in this prestigious passing-out parade held today. This ceremony marked their integration into the esteemed ranks of the Indian Army. The Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi reviewed the officers and graced the occasion by taking the salute. He underscored the evolving nature of warfare, shaped by technological advancements and modern tactics.
On this occasion, Gentleman Cadet Jatin Kumar .was bestowed with the prestigious Sword of Honor award.A total of 390 Gentleman Cadets, hailing from India and abroad, successfully completed their training, including 34 cadets from 10 friendly foreign nations.
In the Order of Merit, Gentleman Cadet Jatin Kumar clinched the top spot, followed by Gentleman Cadet Mayank in the second position and Gentleman Cadet Padma secured the third position.
This spectacle and occasion left a profound impact on the students of our school and the aura that lingered long after the parade had come to an end, leaving an incredible mark on all who witnessed it. All the students of Rajaram Mohan Roy School who witnessed this event were grateful to the Principal Ms. Bharti Vishnoi, who has given them this wonderful opportunity to witness such a venerated event
