DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION

Dussehra, one of India’s most significant festivals, is a grand celebration of the triumph of good over evil. It marks the victory of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana, symbolizing the eternal conquest of righteousness over malevolence.

To commemorate this auspicious occasion, a special assembly was conducted on October 9th, 2024  by the talented students of classes 4 and 5. The program was filled with reverence and enthusiasm, capturing the essence of Dussehra through various performances.

The assembly began with a beautiful recital of the inspiring poem "Vijay satya ki hui hamesha" which highlighted the eternal victory of truth. Following the poem, a thought-provoking speech emphasized the deeper meaning of Dussehra and its relevance in today’s world. The students also presented a meaningful "thought for the day," connecting the festival’s message to everyday life.

The highlight of the event was a captivating performance of "Ram Stuti" – a traditional dance that paid homage to Lord Rama, filling the audience with a sense of devotion and pride.

The assembly concluded with a powerful message by the Headmistress, Ms Tripti Chopra, encouraging everyone to embody the virtues of truth, courage, and compassion in their daily lives, just as Lord Rama did.
