The School Prefectorial Council Elections (2024-25) 

The Prefectorial Council of RRRA comprises a body of students nominated and democratically elected. Elections for the Prefectorial Body were held in two phases, first phase, conducted on 12th of July, was to elect the head boy and the head girl and the second phase was conducted on 20th of July, to elect Deputy head boy, Deputy head girl, Captains and House captains.  In prior to elections, the Nominees were given assertion for nomination by the officiating Principal and faculty on the basis of their exemplary conduct, academic performances, excellence in Sports and other co-curricular activities. The Candidates presented their speeches outlining their vision and goals to get the maximum votes, and their nomination forms were scrutinized thoroughly by the committee of teachers headed by the Principal in Chair. 

This was followed by the election for the position of the Head boy and the Head girl, organized in the Assembly Hall on 12th of July,2024. The students of grade IX to XII cast their votes and exercised their right to franchise by choosing the candidate of their choice. The second phase of election for the positions of Deputy Head boy, Deputy head girl , Captains and House Captains was held on 20th July,2024, following the same procedure. The remaining positions were conferred to the other candidates on the basis of the votes cast in their favour by the Committee of teachers headed by the Principal in chair. The objective of appointing a Student Council is to provide leadership quality and help them learn that authority and responsibility are two sides of the coin.  It also helps them to hone team building skills while performing their duties.  Finally, 48 students were elected, who are getting the opportunity to hone their team building skills while performing their duties. Not only do they become role models for other students but also the emissaries of the school.
