Raja Rammohan Roy Academy observed its monthly "Bagless Day" on the fourth Saturday of July 2025. This initiative promotes interactive and engaging learning experiences, with students participating in various activities across the school.

Day's Highlights

The day featured a diverse range of activities:

Chess Competition – Recreation Hall

The Physical Education department hosted a chess competition in the Recreation Hall, divided into middle school and senior school categories. Students displayed strategic thinking and concentration in a competitive environment.

Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH) Activities

  • SST Quiz (Middle School): Beginning at 8:10 AM in the MPH, this SST Quiz was for students from 6th and 8th grades. It involved four challenging rounds covering History, Geography, and Civics. The audience also participated by answering questions.

  • Results:

  1. Aravalli House: 83 points

  2. Shivalik House: 68 points

  3. Satpura House: 62 points

  4. Vindhya House: 54 points

 

  • Eco-Friendly Rakhi Making: Starting at 8:55 AM in the MPH, students engaged in eco-friendly rakhi making. This was an activity promoting artistic expression and sustainable practices.

Assembly Hall Activities

  • Computer Quiz (Senior School): Students from Classes 9th to 12th participated in an engaging Computer Quiz in the Assembly Hall. This tested their knowledge of technology and digital literacy.

  • Results:

  1. Vindhya House: 100 points

  2. Shivalik House: 80 points

  3. Satpura House: 60 points

  4. Aravalli House: 50 points

 

  • SST Quiz (Senior Grades): The Assembly Hall then hosted the Social Science (SST) Quiz for older students, commencing at 9:10 AM. Students from Classes 9th to 12th competed in four rounds on various social science topics, with audience participation also encouraged.

  • Results:

  1. Aravalli House: 60 points

  2. Vindhya House: 55 points

  3. Shivalik House: 45 points

  4. Satpura House: 38 points

 

Bagless Day was a success, offering a blend of learning and recreation that showcased students' talents and the school's commitment to holistic education.
