09^th August – Felicitation Ceremony 2023-24

Felicitation of Meritorious Students in Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy

The felicitation ceremony to honour and recognize the achievements of meritorious students in the year 2023-24, was held at the Multi-purpose Hall of RRRA. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mrs. Priya Nanda, Principal of Mondrian High School, Dehradun.

The ceremony began with Guru Vandana wherein, students of classes VI to VIII mesmerised the audience with their excellent Kathak Dance performance. This was followed by the award giving ceremony.

The students who excelled and performed meticulously in ICSE and ISC were felicitated with trophies and certificates by the chief guest, Mrs. Nanda. It was a proud moment for the students to receive the award in the presence of their parents and teachers. These students have not only made their parents proud but also added laurels to the school. Arnav Vats and Swastika were awarded for scoring the highest (98.2%) in ICSE and twenty four students, who scored above 90%, were awarded for their outstanding performances. In ISC, Vinayak Rohilla was awarded for excelling in the Science stream with 96.2%. Shreya Haldar and Amisha received the award for remarkable performance in Humanities (96.2%) and Mehak Arora was awarded in the Commerce stream.

After giving away the awards, Mrs. Nanda motivated students and emphasized on the importance of hard work and perseverance and further added that, success and failure are two stepping stones that go hand in hand - success is not possible, if failure is not experienced.

The Principal, Ms. Bharti Vishnoi, encouraged the students and emphasized on humility, modesty and honesty and congratulated the students for their dedication and hard work. She wished them success.

The Head-Girl, Shambhavi Bisht, proposed the Vote of Thanks. The ceremony ended with High Tea.
