PAPER   BAG   DAY

On July 12, 2024, Paper Bag Day was celebrated for students of the Primary wing. The event aimed to foster creativity, resourcefulness, and environmental awareness among the young learners. The day began with a special assembly conducted by the students of class III C, where they presented a skit and a speech on saving the environment by using paper bags instead of polythene bags.

Following the assembly, the teachers illustrated the do's and don'ts of using alternative materials with various concrete examples, emphasizing the importance of replacing plastic with more sustainable options such as jute, cotton, paper, and stainless steel. The students then enthusiastically participated in decorating paper bags, utilizing materials like paint, glue, and ribbon to create their unique designs.

The beautifully crafted paper bags made by the students of classes 3 to 5 were displayed on the soft board, showcasing their creativity and effort. Meanwhile, the paper bags made by the pre-primary students were given to the children as mementos of their efforts and reminders of the importance of sustainability.
