AN  EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO POST OFFICE

CLASS III A, IV A, IV B & IV C

On 10th January and 13th January 2025, students of Classes III A, IV A, IV B, and IV C visited the local post office, Garhi Cantt, as part of their educational excursion. The visits aimed to familiarize the students with the functioning of a post office and to provide practical knowledge about postal services.

The students, accompanied by their teachers, reached the post office at 10:00 AM. The staff warmly welcomed the groups and began the tours by explaining the history and significance of postal services. The students were introduced to various sections, including the counter for selling stamps, the parcel section, and the sorting area, where they witnessed how letters and parcels are organized based on destinations.

A brief interactive session followed, during which the postmaster discussed the role of technology in modern postal services. The students were excited to purchase stamps and postcards to write letters to their family members, giving them hands-on experience in understanding communication.

The visits concluded at 11:00 AM, with the students expressing gratitude to the post office staff for their hospitality and insightful tours. The experience was enriching and left the students with a better understanding of how the postal system operates.
