SPECIAL ASSEMBLY        CLASSES I -V

A Special Assembly related to Dussehra celebration  was conducted by the students  of classes III, IV and V in the Senior Quadrangle of Raja Rammohan Roy Academy on 20th of October 2023. There were 28 participants. The in charges of ‘Special Assembly’ were Ms. Suchismita Paul and Ms. Anooradha Gulati. Our respected Officiating Principal, Ms. Bharti Vishnoi and Head Mistress, Ms. Tripti Chopra graced the occasion.

Dussehra means time for celebration for victory of good over evil. This is when world sees the power of positive energy. The morning assembly started with a prayer to fill everybody’s life with happiness, prosperity and success. It was followed by thought of the day and pledge. An informative speech was also delivered.

Students beautifully recited a poem dedicated to Goddess Durga. It was followed by a Bharatanatyam dance performance which expressed the glorious heritage, culture and tradition of the festival.  A fancy dress was also organised to depict the role of their favourite mythological character from Ramayana. The assembly was ended by National Anthem.  Our respected Officiating Principal, Ms. Bharti Vishnoi and Head Mistress, Ms. Tripti Chopra appreciated the assembly.

Students enjoyed and gained knowledge from it. Dussehra gives us a lesson to rethink ourselves and to slay the demon which keeps growing in us.
