INTER-HOUSE COLLAGE-MAKING COMPETITION

On 17th December 2024, the Primary Wing of Raja Rammohan Roy Academy came alive with colours and creativity during the much-anticipated Inter-House Collage-Making Competition for Classes 3 to 5. The event aimed to foster teamwork, artistic expression, and an appreciation for diverse themes among the students.

Each house was assigned a unique and thought-provoking theme:

·   Shivalik House: Save Water

·   Satpura House: Merry Christmas

·   Vindhya House: Freedom Struggle of India

·   Aravali House: Salute to Our Soldiers

To ensure fair representation, each House Incharge selected a team of seven students, comprising two from Class 3, two from Class 4, and three from Class 5. The competition format required participants to prepare the outer area of their boards in advance, showcasing their pre-designed cutouts and decorative materials. The central collage, however, was crafted entirely on the spot, showcasing their creativity and collaborative skills in real-time. The event was judged by Ms. Poonam Sharma, an Art Teacher from the Senior Wing.

 Results:

·         First : Shivalik House

·         Second : Satpura House

·         Third: Vindhya House

·         Fourth: Aravali House

Ms. Sharma commended the students for their vibrant and meaningful collages, highlighting the enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication that went into each creation. The event concluded on a high note, with a sense of accomplishment resonating among the participants and spectators alike. The competition not only brought out the best in the students but also served as a platform to convey important messages through art. It was a grand success and a memorable day for everyone involved.
