The Inter-House English Debate took place on 22nd August, 2023 with enthusiastic participation from students of classes 6th to 8th. The event aimed to foster critical thinking, effective communication, and persuasive skills among the students.

The competition featured four teams, each consisting of two debaters – one speaking for the motion and the other against it. The topic 'Parents should decide the subject for their child ' was carefully chosen to encourage thoughtful discussions on the issue. The participants demonstrated exceptional research and preparation, presenting well-structured arguments supported by relevant evidence and examples. They  skillfully addressed counterarguments and engaged in lively rebuttals. Their eloquence and ability to articulate complex ideas were truly impressive.

The judges deliberated to select the winners based on criteria such as content, delivery, organization, and responsiveness to opposing arguments. The result for the competition are as follows:

Second best speaker: Sarthak Purohit 

The English Debate served as a platform for students to enhance their oratory skills, critical thinking, and confidence. The event concluded with the expression of gratitude towards the participants, judges, teachers, and organizing committee for their dedicated efforts in making the competition a success.
