International Tiger Day Programme at Wildlife Institute of India
On 4 August 2026, students of Class XI-B (Biology) visited the Wildlife Institute of India to attend a programme commemorating **International Tiger Day**. The programme highlighted tiger conservation and its significance in maintaining ecological balance, followed by the captivating *Tiger Anthem*.
An inspiring address by **Mr. G. S. Bhardwaj, Director, Wildlife Institute of India**, and insightful sessions by researchers, Ph.D. scholars and professors acquainted students with various aspects of biodiversity, including wildlife, marine and benthic life, the Himalayan ecosystem and insects.
The highlight of the event was the **Project Tiger Quiz**, in which **Gargi Rawat of Class XI-B and Anwita Rawat of Class XII-B secured the second position**.
The visit proved to be an enriching learning experience, fostering greater awareness about biodiversity and wildlife conservation.
