Educational Trip to the Water Works DepartmentO

On November 5th and 6th, 2024, an educational trip was organized for Class 8 students to the Water Works Department at Dilaram Chowk, Dehradun. This excursion, led by Mrs. Jyoti Virmani and Mrs. Anupama Rawat from the Chemistry department, provided students with a firsthand look at water purification processes.

During the visit, students explored the historical water works facility, established in 1937, and learned about the various stages involved in purifying water before it reaches the overhead tanks supplying our local areas. The students showed great enthusiasm and curiosity, attentively following demonstrations and actively asking questions to clarify their understanding. This trip served as an invaluable practical learning experience, giving students insight into the vital operations of the water department.
