NDRF ORGANIZED SCHOOL SAFETY PROGRAMME IN RAJA RAMMOHAN ROY ACADEMY

The 15th Battalion of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF),Gadarpur (Uttrakhand) under the supervision of Inspector Laxman Thapliyal conducted a training exercise on Raja Rammohan Roy Academy in 29th May 2025 to enhance the school's preparedness for emergencies and train the teachers to save life.

During the programme, the teachers were sensitized through lecture and presentation about the need of school safety and various safety measures to be taken before, during and after any mishap .This was followed by demonstration and practice about medical first aid like CPR, Bleeding Control, Choking and building improvised slings.

The main objective of the workshop was to spread awareness, build preparedness, courage and confidence, and enhance the teachers’ ability to respond quickly during emergencies.
