BOOK DAY

Reading for pleasure is the single strongest predictor of a child's future success. 

On April 23, World Book Day, A Book Day was observed at the Primary Section of Raja Rammohan Roy Academy to develop book affection and promote the lifetime habit of leisure reading. The students were instructed to bring the book they enjoyed the most.

The morning was designated as the reading time. Students from classes I to V exuberantly participated in the activity. Students were inspired to read with their peers. Teachers facilitated this activity.

It was observed that the kids were deeply immersed in their books and recommended books to each other. It was a fascinating activity.

There were class discussions where students were free to share their valuable reading experiences. It was overall an upward experience, which fostered a fondness for reading books.
