BAGLESS DAY

A JOYFUL BLEND OF FUN, FITNESS, AND LEARNING

To encourage experiential learning, our school organised the first Bagless Day of the session on April 26, 2025. Bagless Days will be organized throughout the session to promote learning through creative and engaging activities.

It was a day full of fun, learning, and excitement for all the students. The purpose of this special day was to give students a break from their regular school bags and books, and instead enjoy learning through experiences and activities.

The day began with a cheerful morning assembly, where the Headmistress explained the importance of learning through play and real-world experiences. Instead of carrying their bags, students came with only their lunch boxes and water bottles.

First, the students of Classes IV and V witnessed the  Kho-Kho matches between Shivalik vs Aravali and Vindhya vs Satpura houses. They cheered for their teams with great sports spirit in the pleasant, cool morning breeze. Meanwhile, Class III students enjoyed watching the movie,  ‘Home Alone’  on the projector in the Primary Wing Computer Lab  .

Later, Class IV students enthusiastically watched the movie and Class III students played outdoor games.The students of Class V attended a workshop on Personal Hygiene, conducted separately for boys and girls in the library. The session emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness to prevent illness, boost confidence, and promote overall well-being.

Bagless Day turned out to be a great success, with everyone cherishing each activity and eagerly looking forward to the upcoming Bagless Days in the Primary Wing.

With such an enthusiastic start, we are excited to continue organizing Bagless Days throughout the session, providing students with more opportunities to learn, explore, and grow beyond the classroom.
