The Inter-School Geeta Shlok Path Competition held on 6th September, 2023 at Kasiga School was a significant event that provided a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and recitation skills related to verses from the Bhagavad Gita. 16 schools from Dehradun  participated in this competition with our school, Raja Rammohan Roy Academy being one of them.

A team of 11 students was selected to represent our school in the competition. These students were chosen based on their proficiency in Sanskrit, as well as their ability to effectively recite and understand the verses from the Bhagavad Gita.

Our team presented a selection of verses from the Bhagavad Gita with grace and precision. The participants displayed a deep understanding of the verses and conveyed the spiritual essence effectively. Their diction, pronunciation, and intonation were commendable, reflecting the hours of practice they had put in.

Participation in the Inter-School Geeta Shlok Path Competition was about imbibing the values and teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. It provided our students with a profound spiritual experience and a greater appreciation for the wisdom contained in this sacred text. It also encouraged them to explore the rich heritage of Indian culture.

We are proud of our team's performance and look forward to participating in similar events in the future, further strengthening our commitment to preserving and promoting our cultural heritage.
