Career counselling workshop by Edmonds College 2025

On 17th November 2025, a career counselling workshop by Edmonds College, Washington, USA was organised for the Class 12 students in collaboration with KAN International Education. Representatives from Edmonds College interacted with the learners and guided them about global higher-education opportunities. The guest speaker, Ms. Sherna George (Country Head India), introduced students to the U.S. education system and explained the various pathways available after Grade 12.
The session covered essential information on admission procedures, entry requirements, English proficiency tests, scholarships, financial planning, and the overall affordability of studying in the U.S.
They also learned about the wide range of programs offered at Edmonds College, including high-school to university pathways, technical courses, certificates, and bachelor’s degrees, Insights into STEM facilities, support services, and academic advising gave students a clear picture of the environment they can expect.
The workshop proved extremely informative and helped students understand the steps involved in planning international education and exploring career avenues in the U.S. It was a valuable exposure that encouraged students to think globally and consider diverse opportunities for their future.
