24^th August – Inter House English Debate Competition (Classes VI to VIII)

Debate is a skill that hones the public speaking skills of the students and teaches them to be articulate, while expressing their thoughts and opinions. The event showcased the talent and eloquence of the students, as they engaged in a thought-provoking discussion on the topic "Robots Enhance The Quality Of Life ".

The event was conducted by the department of English at the MPH and was witnessed by the Principal, Madam Vishnoi and the young enthusiastic students of class VIII, along with their class teachers and subject teachers.

Each participant spoke their mind and their views were accepted by the audience with loud cheers and claps. The competition was very interesting as the participants put forward their perspectives, equally stating the merits and demerits of how Robots enhance the quality of life.

The event was judged by Mrs Komal Dhingra and Mrs Kiran Gupta from the junior wing.

The winners of the competition were as follows:

1st position : Satpura House

2nd position: Shivalik House

3^rd position : Aravali House

Amra Ansari from Satpura house was honoured as the Best Speaker and Anjolina Gurung from Shivalik House was adjudged as the 2nd Best Speaker.

The event was carried out smoothly and successfully.
