20^th& 21^st August – Visit to Science Centre

The students of class IX of Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy were fortunate to get the opportunity to visit the Science Centre at Prem Nagar, Dehradun, on 20th and 21st August, 2024. It is a great place to learn about various scientific concepts through practical and interactive exhibits. Such trips encourage curiosity among students, to know more and develop in-depth understanding.

Fifty-two students were sent in two batches with their respective class teachers as a part of the education program. As soon as they reached the centre, they felt as if they were in the realm of technology. They watched a 3D presentation on the solar system, astronomy and space technology. They also got the chance to explore ecosystems and the aqua world. The students were privileged to have two interactive sessions on Brain Science and Artificial Intelligence and learnt the skill of retention in memory.

Overall, it was an enriching experience for the students, a pleasant change from the lessons in the classroom. They gained practical knowledge and had fun while learning. Hope students will apply their new found conceptual facts and knowledge, in the future.
