Inter-House Science Quiz Competition 2023 (Grades VI-VIII)

A buzz of excitement filled the air as the Middle School Science Quiz kicked off in our school Multipurpose Hall (MPH) on 16 December 2023.

The quiz covered a diverse range of topics, from the mysteries of the cosmos to the wonders of the human body. Questions tested the participants' understanding of key scientific concepts, while also encouraging critical thinking and creative problem solving.The aim of the competition was to enhance the scientific knowledge and skills of the students and to foster a spirit of healthy competition among them.

The competition was divided into three rounds: 

Round 1 : House Round

Round 2 : Buzzer/Visual Round 

Round 3 : Rapid Fire Round

Each round had a different format and difficulty level. There were four teams, each comprising of four members.

The quiz was skillfully conducted by the Science Department.

The Positions held in the quiz are as under :

Winner : Vindhya House (Team C) 

First Runner-up : Aravali House (Team A)

Second Runner-up : Shivalik House (Team B) followed by Satpura House in the fourth position.

The quiz competition was a great success as it not only tested the scientific knowledge and skills of our students but also motivated them to learn more about science and its applications in everyday life.
