On 21st November, 2024,  the students of class 11 D, Humanities, conducted the Youth Parliament session in the multipurpose hall of RajaRam Mohan Roy Academy.

The session began with the swearing - in , of the new members followed, by welcome and introduction of the new ministers by the Prime Minister. This was an opportunity for the students to familiarise themselves with the roles they would be playing during the session.

An obituary reference was made to pay respects to notable national figures who had passed away recently. This solemn gesture set the tone for the rest of the session. 

The Business of the House included-- introduction of bills debate and discussion, passing of the bills.

Other agenda items included- Question Hour in which members posed questions to the ministers who responded accordingly. Participants moved motions and resolutions on pressing National and international issues. 

The Youth Parliament session concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the participants' efforts and commitment to democratic values. 

The session provided valuable experience and insights into parliamentary procedures, fostering leadership skills and civic awareness among the students.
