SPECIAL ASSEMBLY- DR. AMBEDKAR JAYANTI & BAISAKHI

The Pre-Primary and Primary students celebrated Baisakhi and Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti with great enthusiasm on 13th April 2025. A special assembly was conducted to highlight the significance of the day, with special emphasis on the life and contributions of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

During the assembly, the Headmistress shared valuable insights about Dr. Ambedkar, describing him as the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a great social reformer who worked tirelessly for equality, justice, and education for all. Students were informed about his important role in shaping modern India and were encouraged to follow his ideals of hard work, perseverance, and respect for all.

The significance of Baisakhi as a harvest festival was also explained to the students. The celebration became lively as the pre primary students wore bright yellow turbans and enjoyed energetic Bhangra performances in the primary quadrangle. The children participated with great zeal and enthusiasm, adding joy and vibrancy to the occasion.

The celebration successfully helped students understand the importance of Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti while also appreciating India’s rich cultural heritage and agricultural traditions. The event concluded on a cheerful note, leaving students inspired and enriched.
