Inter House Indoor Cricket Tournament 2024

Indoor cricket has always been an integral part of Raja Ram Mohan Roy Academy. Inter house Indoor cricket tournament is always the first tournament in the beginning of the session. It not only inculcates the value of team spirit and perseverance in the students but also initiates the encouragement that sustains throughout the year to strengthen their teams as” The strength of the team is each individual member and the strength of each individual member is the team.”

Like every year , this year also the school has organized an Inter House Indoor Cricket Tournament for girls and Junior and Senior boys on 10th and 12th April, 2024 respectively. The matches were played between the four houses- Satpura, Vindhya, Shivalik and Aravalli where the students from all the houses played very well to prove their skills. The Tournament witnessed great batting and disciplined bowling by the players and their  enthusiasm has no bounds. Audience experienced thrilling performances both by the girls’ and the boys’ teams.

In the girls category, Satpura House triumphed as it bagged the first position. Vindhya House secured the first runner up position, while Shivalik House was declared the second runner up. In the junior boys category, Vindhya House was victorious and earned the first position. There was a tie between Satpura House and Aravali House both successfully secured the first runner up position and the second runner up position was acquired by Shivalik House.  

In the Senior boys category, Vindhya bagged first position and there was a tie among Satpura, Aravali and Shivalik Houses respectively. The over all result result is as follows :

The Tournament demonstrated excellent team spirit and good sportsmanship and proved to be a success. While the winners of were cheered, the efforts of the runners up were equally applauded and appreciated.
