School Safety Programme Conducted by NDRF

On May 17, 2025, the 15th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Gadarpur, Uttarakhand ,organized a comprehensive school safety program at Raja Rammohan Roy Academy under the supervision of Inspector Laxman Thapliyal. The program aimed to enhance the school's preparedness for emergencies and disasters.

The program included informative lectures and presentations on school safety measures to be  taken before, during, and after a disaster. Students also participated in hands-on training sessions on medical first aid, including CPR, bleeding control, drowning, choking, and carrying methods. Additionally, they learned how to build improvised stretchers.

The primary objective of the program was to spread awareness, build preparedness, courage, and confidence among students, and enhance their ability to respond quickly and effectively during emergencies. Through this initiative, the NDRF team empowered the students and faculty of Raja Rammohan Roy Academy with essential skills and knowledge to ensure a safer school community.
