The Senior Boys Council Football Tournament was organised by Dehradun Private School Association from August 27th to September 5th, 2024, at St. Joseph's Academy, Dehradun. The event was organized to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competition among students from various schools.

A total of 18 schools from across the district participated in the tournament, namely Hilton's School, St. Jude's Academy, The Doon School, St. Thomas College and many others. Each school was represented by a team of 11 players, with several substitute players on standby. 

The matches were intense, with each team showcasing exceptional skill, determination, teamwork, excellent coordination and sports strategies. The final match was a thrilling experience for both players and spectators. After a hard-fought battle, St. Joseph's Academy won the tournament by scoring 1-0 against Raja Rammohan Roy Academy.

The tournament was a great success, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their talent and learn valuable life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winning team was awarded the championship trophy, and individual players received recognition for their outstanding performances.

The tournament not only fostered healthy competition but also encouraged students to pursue sports as part of their holistic development.
