*A Workshop on Classroom Management and Spoken English through Activities*

In the present era, it has become imperative for all the schools to provide holistic learning opportunities to impart quality education to the students. Keeping this in view, a workshop was conducted on Classroom Management and Spoken English through Activities for teachers on 26th March, 2024 at the School MPH. 

The resource person was Ms Indrani Lahiri, the Manager and member of the School Managing Committee.

This informative session provided a platform to the teachers to adopt various effective techniques for classroom management. The resource person effectively engaged the teachers in group activities and discussed common problems faced by teachers in managing classes. An ideal classroom management includes effective discipline, being prepared for class, using graphic organizers, motivating students, being creative and imaginative and preparing students for future life.  

For effective classroom management, it is important for the teacher to be well versed in teaching methodology, use of proper skills and techniques for effective classroom management. The teacher must watch her/his body language while communicating, arrange graphic organizers for assignment and homework make an eye contact and set high standards and expectations.

The session was interactive where the teachers participated enthusiastically and sought answers to their queries from the expert.
